A family court mediates litigation cases regarding personal status and other cases regarding family affairs (excluding the cases regarding the matters set forth in Appended Table 1), and also adjudicates these cases as provided for in this Part.
家庭裁判所は、人事に関する訴訟事件その他家庭に関する事件（別表第一に掲げる事項についての事件を除く。）について調停を行うほか、この編の定めるところにより審判をする。
