Chapter V Penal Provisions
第五章 罰則
第三十三条
Any person who has violated the order to suspend business operations in accordance with the provisions of Article 25 is punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or by a fine not exceeding 1,000,000 yen, or both.
第二十五条の規定による業務の停止の命令に違反した者は、一年以下の拘禁刑若しくは百万円以下の罰金に処し、又はこれを併科する。
第三十四条
A person that falls under any of the following items is punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or by a fine not exceeding 1,000,000 yen:
次の各号のいずれかに該当する者は、一年以下の拘禁刑又は百万円以下の罰金に処する。
a person who has violated an order in accordance with the provisions of Article 7 (excluding an order concerning the retention of records in accordance with the provisions of Article 3, paragraph (2)).
第三十五条
A person that falls under any of the following items is punished by a fine not exceeding 1,000,000 yen:
次の各号のいずれかに該当する者は、百万円以下の罰金に処する。
a person who has violated an order in accordance with the provisions of Article 7 (limited to an order concerning the retention of records in accordance with the provisions of Article 3, paragraph (2));
a person who has failed to submit a report, or submitted a false report, in accordance with the provisions of Article 28, paragraph (1), or has refused, hindered or evaded the inspection pursuant to that paragraph.
第三十六条
A person that falls under any of the following items is punished by a fine not exceeding 300,000 yen:
次の各号のいずれかに該当する者は、三十万円以下の罰金に処する。
a person who has failed to submit a notification or submitted a false notification in accordance with the provisions of Article 21;
第二十一条の規定による届出をせず、又は虚偽の届出をした者
a person who has failed to enter matters or made false entries, or failed to maintain an account book, in violation of the provisions of Article 26;
a person who has failed to submit a report, or submitted a false report, in accordance with the provisions of Article 28, paragraph (2), or has refused, hindered or evaded the inspection pursuant to that paragraph.
第三十七条
When any representative of a corporation, or an agent, staff member or other employee of a corporation or an individual, has committed an act of violation of the provisions set forth in the following items with regard to the business of the corporation or the individual, not only the offender is punished but also the juridical person is punished by the fine prescribed in the relevant item, and the individual by the fine prescribed in the respective Articles:
法人の代表者又は法人若しくは人の代理人、使用人その他の従業者が、その法人又は人の業務に関し、次の各号に掲げる規定の違反行為をしたときは、行為者を罰するほか、その法人に対して当該各号に定める罰金刑を、その人に対して各本条の罰金刑を科する。
Article 34: a fine not exceeding 30,000,000 yen;
第三十四条 三千万円以下の罰金刑
Article 33, Article 35 or the preceding Article: the fine prescribed in the respective Articles.
第三十八条
Any person who has failed to retain financial statements, etc., has failed to enter the matters that should be entered in financial statements, etc., or has made false entries in financial statements, etc., in violation of the provisions of Article 22 paragraph (1), or has refused without reasonable grounds a request under paragraph (2) of the same Article, is punished by a civil fine not exceeding 200,000 yen.
