Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the day specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding nine months from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the day specified in each of those items:
この法律は、公布の日から起算して九月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、それぞれ当該各号に定める日から施行する。

the provisions of Article 2, the provisions amending Article 11, paragraph (2) of the Act on Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, etc. (called the "Company Act" in that amending Act) in Article 3, and the provisions of Articles 6 through 15, Articles 21 through 31, Articles 34 through 41 and Articles 44 through 48 of the Supplementary Provisions: the day specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year from the date of promulgation.
