Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the day specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding six months from the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して六月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。

第二十七条（中心市街地の活性化に関する法律等の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
The Former Promotion Organization that is deemed, pursuant to Article 4, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions, to have received designation under Article 22, paragraph (1) of the New Act is to carry out, in addition to the business listed in the items of Article 23 of the New Act and the former debt guarantee business, etc., the business pertaining to debt guarantee contracts concluded by the Former Promotion Organization before the Effective Date under the provisions set out in the following items and the business incidental thereto (hereinafter referred to in this Article as "former special debt guarantee business, etc."); in this case, the former special debt guarantee business, etc. is deemed, for the purpose of the application of the provisions of the New Act, to be the business listed in Article 23, item (i) of the New Act and the business incidental thereto.
附則第四条第一項の規定により新法第二十二条第一項の規定による指定を受けたものとみなされた旧促進機構は、新法第二十三条各号に掲げる業務及び旧債務保証業務等のほか、次に掲げる規定により施行日前に旧促進機構が締結した債務保証契約に係る業務及びこれに附帯する業務（以下この条において「旧特例債務保証業務等」という。）を行うものとする。この場合において、旧特例債務保証業務等は、新法の規定の適用については、新法第二十三条第一号に掲げる業務及びこれに附帯する業務とみなす。
