Supplementary Provisions

This Act comes into effect as of the day specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding three months from the date of promulgation.

①The provisions of Article 13, paragraph (2), Article 15 and Article 16 of the Act for Facilitating New Business Activities of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises as amended by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to in this Article as the "New New Business Promotion Act") apply to the project for management innovation prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (6) of the New New Business Promotion Act that is carried out in accordance with the management innovation plan prescribed in Article 9, paragraph (1) of the New New Business Promotion Act for which approval under Article 9, paragraph (1) of the New New Business Promotion Act (including approval of a change under Article 10, paragraph (1) of the New New Business Promotion Act) has been obtained after this Act comes into effect.

②The provisions of Article 13, paragraph (5), Article 15 and Article 16 of the New New Business Promotion Act apply to the business relating to developing new business fields through collaboration between different fields prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (8) of the New New Business Promotion Act that is carried out in accordance with the plan for developing new business fields through collaboration between different fields prescribed in Article 11, paragraph (1) of the New New Business Promotion Act for which certification under Article 11, paragraph (1) of the New New Business Promotion Act (including certification of a change under Article 12, paragraph (1) of the New New Business Promotion Act) has been obtained after this Act comes into effect.

The Government is to, with five years after this Act comes into effect as a target, take into account the implementation status of the provisions as amended by this Act and, if it finds it necessary, review those provisions and take necessary measures based on the results.
