If jurisdiction is determined by the value of the subject matter of litigation pursuant to the Court Act (Act No. 59 of 1947), the value is calculated on the basis of the interest alleged in the action.
裁判所法（昭和二十二年法律第五十九号）の規定により管轄が訴訟の目的の価額により定まるときは、その価額は、訴えで主張する利益によって算定する。
If it is impossible or extremely difficult to calculate the value referred to in the preceding paragraph, the value is deemed to exceed 1,400,000 yen.
前項の価額を算定することができないとき、又は極めて困難であるときは、その価額は百四十万円を超えるものとみなす。
