第八条（外国人住民に係る住民基本台帳カードの有効期間の特例に関する経過措置）
An alien registration certificate (meaning the alien registration certificate prescribed in the Alien Registration Act (Act No. 125 of 1952) prior to its abolition pursuant to Article 4 of the Immigration Control Act Amendment Act) that is deemed to be a residence card (meaning the residence card prescribed in Article 19-3 of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act (Cabinet Order No. 319 of 1951); the same applies hereinafter in this Article) pursuant to Article 15, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Immigration Control Act Amendment Act is deemed to be a residence card for the purpose of the application of Article 30-30 of the New Order.
入管法等改正法附則第十五条第一項の規定により在留カード（出入国管理及び難民認定法（昭和二十六年政令第三百十九号）第十九条の三に規定する在留カードをいう。以下この条において同じ。）とみなされている外国人登録証明書（入管法等改正法第四条の規定による廃止前の外国人登録法（昭和二十七年法律第百二十五号）に規定する外国人登録証明書をいう。）は、在留カードとみなして、新令第三十条の三十の規定を適用する。
