Article 13-2Procedures Concerning the Re-preparation of a Certificate of Residence
第十三条の二（住民票の改製に関する手続）
When re-preparing a certificate of residence, the mayor of the municipality may omit transferring the entries made in that certificate of residence before its deletion or before its amendment.
市町村長は、住民票を改製する場合には、当該住民票の消除前又は修正前の記載の移記を省略することができる。
When the mayor of the municipality has re-prepared a certificate of residence, the mayor must enter in the certificate of residence prior to re-preparation the fact that it has been re-prepared and the date thereof (or, for a certificate of residence prior to re-preparation prepared by means of a magnetic disk pursuant to the provisions of Article 15-2, paragraph (2) of the Act, record them).
市町村長は、住民票を改製したときは、その旨及びその年月日をその改製前の住民票に記載（法第十五条の二第二項の規定により磁気ディスクをもつて調製する改製前の住民票にあつては、記録）をしなければならない。
