When the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry finds that a business that has a contract for handling credit card numbers falls under the provisions of Article 35-17-5, paragraph (1), item (viii), or when it finds that the party violates the provisions of the preceding two Articles, it may order the business that has a contract for handling credit card numbers, within the scope that it is necessary, to take necessary measures to improve the operations of the business related to making a contract for handling credit card numbers.
経済産業大臣は、クレジットカード番号等取扱契約締結事業者が第三十五条の十七の五第一項第八号の規定に該当することとなつたと認めるとき、又は前二条の規定に違反していると認めるときは、その必要の限度において、当該クレジットカード番号等取扱契約締結事業者に対し、クレジットカード番号等取扱契約の締結に係る業務の運営を改善するため必要な措置をとるべきことを命ずることができる。
