Article 75-5Examination by the National Agency for Automobile and Land Transport Technology Concerning Designation by Type
第七十五条の五（型式についての指定に係る独立行政法人自動車技術総合機構の審査）
The Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is to have the Agency conduct, among the affairs relating to designation of the type of motor vehicle prescribed in Article 75, paragraph (1), designation of the type of specified common structural part prescribed in Article 75-2, paragraph (1) and designation of the type of specified equipment prescribed in Article 75-3, paragraph (1), the examination of whether the structure, equipment and performance of the motor vehicle and the specified common structural part, and the specified equipment, conform to the safety standards.
国土交通大臣は、第七十五条第一項に規定する自動車の型式についての指定、第七十五条の二第一項に規定する特定共通構造部の型式についての指定及び第七十五条の三第一項に規定する特定装置の型式についての指定に関する事務のうち、当該自動車及び当該特定共通構造部の構造、装置及び性能並びに当該特定装置が保安基準に適合するかどうかの審査を機構に行わせるものとする。
When the Agency has conducted the examination under the preceding paragraph, it must, without delay, notify the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of the result of that examination as prescribed by Order of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
