Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of April 1, 1999.
この法律は、平成十一年四月一日から施行する。

第二十一条（医療法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
A bed that, at the time this Act comes into effect, is a contagious disease hospital bed prescribed in Article 7, paragraph (2) of the Medical Care Act before the revision by the provisions of the preceding Article is deemed to be an infectious disease hospital bed prescribed in Article 7, paragraph (2) of the Medical Care Act after the revision by the provisions of the preceding Article.
