Supplementary Provisions, Article 6Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Act for Facilitating New Business Activities of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises

With regard to the insurance relations of overseas business fund loan insurance underwritten, before this Act comes into effect, by the Incorporated Administrative Agency Nippon Export and Investment Insurance in respect of an overseas management innovation fund loan prescribed in Article 16, paragraph (1) of the Act for Facilitating New Business Activities of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises prior to its amendment by the provisions of the preceding Article (hereinafter referred to in this Article as the "Former New Business Promotion Act") that was deemed to be an overseas business fund loan prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (17) of the International Trade and Investment Insurance Act prior to its amendment by this Act (hereinafter referred to in this Article and Articles 9 and 11 of the Supplementary Provisions as a "former overseas business fund loan") pursuant to the provisions of Article 16, paragraph (1) of the Former New Business Promotion Act (including the case where it is applied with terms replaced pursuant to Article 66, paragraph (5) of the Act on Special Measures for the Promotion and Development of Okinawa (Act No. 14 of 2002) prior to its amendment by the provisions of the following Article; the same applies hereinafter in this Article), or in respect of an overseas fund loan for developing new business fields through collaboration between different fields prescribed in Article 16, paragraph (3) of the Former New Business Promotion Act that was deemed to be a former overseas business fund loan pursuant to the provisions of Article 16, paragraph (3) of the Former New Business Promotion Act, and with regard to the insurance relations of the reinsurance of that overseas business fund loan insurance concluded before this Act comes into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
