一般の読み方（いっぱんのよみかた）

A reading generally accepted as a way of reading the characters used in personal names — the only kind of reading that Article 13(2) of this Act, as amended by Article 7 of Act No. 48 of 2023, allows for the kana (振り仮名) of a name entered in a family register (戸籍).

電磁的記録（でんじてききろく）

A record made in electronic, magnetic or any other form people cannot perceive directly, of a kind that Ministry of Justice Order (法務省令) specifies as used in computer processing.

電子的方式、磁気的方式その他人の知覚によっては認識することができない方式で作られる記録であって、電子計算機による情報処理の用に供されるものとして法務省令で定めるもの

再審査庁（さいしんさちょう）

The administrative agency (行政庁) with which a request for re-examination (再審査請求) has been filed under another Act (法律), including one that took the case over under Article 14, as Article 66, paragraph (1) applies it, when the power to decide it passed to it through a change in the laws and regulations (法令).

他の法律の規定により再審査請求がされた行政庁（第六十六条第一項において読み替えて準用する第十四条の規定により引継ぎを受けた行政庁を含む。）

自動変更対象額（じどうへんこうたいしょうがく）

The amounts that Article 18 changes in line with average earnings (平均給与額): the daily wage bands used to work out the daily amount of the basic allowance (基本手当) under Article 16, paragraph (1) — 2,460 yen to under 4,920 yen, paid at 80 percent, and 4,920 yen to 12,090 yen, paid at 80 to 50 percent — and the amounts listed in Article 17, paragraph (4).

The written record an administrative agency (行政庁) makes, under the second sentence of Article 20, of what a person states when filing a request for review (審査請求) orally.

The value settled under Article 103, paragraph 1 or Article 118-23, paragraph 1 of the Urban Renewal Act (including as read under Article 118-25-3, paragraph 3 of that Act) of each site, share, part of a building, piece of land or right that the subitems of Article 73-14, paragraph 8, item 1 list, whose total item 1 uses in working out the real estate acquisition tax (不動産取得税) base on property received in an urban redevelopment project (市街地再開発事業).

The kana characters (振り仮名) showing how the characters of a person's surname (氏) and given name (名) are read, which Article 13, paragraph (1), item (ii) requires to be entered in the family register (戸籍) for each person in it; they are made up of the surname kana characters (氏の振り仮名) and the given name kana characters (名の振り仮名).

特定期間（とくていきかん）

In Article 5, paragraph (11) and Article 7, paragraph (4), the specified period of Article 24, paragraph (1) as applied with modified wording by paragraph (5) of that Article: the period a Cabinet Office Order (内閣府令) specifies for regulated securities (特定有価証券), which takes the place of the business year as the period their issuer reports on.

The property that Article 18 of the Act on Authorization of Public Interest Incorporated Associations and Public Interest Incorporated Foundations, as Article 70-9 applies it with words replaced, requires a regional medical coordination promotion corporation (地域医療連携推進法人) to use or dispose of for its medical coordination promotion operations (医療連携推進業務) — such as donations and subsidies it receives after its approval for medical coordination promotion (医療連携推進認定), unless the giver set another use, payment it earns for those operations, and property obtained by investing or spending them.
