The date, set by Cabinet Order (政令) within one year of the promulgation (公布) of the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds as first enacted (Act No. 22 of 2007), on which the provisions listed in Article 1, item (i) of its supplementary provisions (附則) come into effect, among them Article 2, paragraph (2) (other than items (xxii) and (xxiv)), Articles 4 to 10 and Articles 13 to 28 as then numbered.
第二号施行日
The date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (ii) of the supplementary provisions of the amending law in question came into force.
In Article 20 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2014, the Long-Term Care Insurance Act (this Act) as amended by Article 6 of that Act, counting only the amendments listed in Article 1, item (vi) of those supplementary provisions, which come into effect on a date set by Cabinet Order (政令) no later than 1 April 2016.
In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 65 of 2006, a bank, cooperative financial institution (協同組織金融機関) or other financial institution a Cabinet Order (政令) specifies that was registered under Article 65-2, paragraph (1) of this Act as it stood before Act No. 65 of 2006 amended it, under its former title (証券取引法) when that Act came into effect, and that Article 54, paragraph (1) of those supplementary provisions therefore treats as registered under Article 33-2 of this Act as Act No. 65 of 2006 amended it.
A house of a kind a Cabinet Order (政令) sets, other than one under unit ownership, at least ten years after it was built, in whose part used as a home (特定居住用部分, rented parts excluded) renovation work of a kind that Order sets making it safer for elderly persons, etc. (高齢者等) to live in and easier to care for them (居住安全改修工事) was done between 1 April 2016 and 31 March 2031, and in which an elderly person, etc. lives.
A house that has existed since 1 April 2014 or earlier (other than a building in unit ownership, and of a kind a Cabinet Order (政令) sets) in whose residential part (特定居住用部分) heat-loss prevention renovation work, etc. (熱損失防止改修工事等) was done from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2031.

熱損失防止改修等専有部分
An exclusively owned unit (専有部分), of a kind a Cabinet Order (政令) sets, of a building in unit ownership that has existed since 1 April 2014 or earlier, in whose residential part (特定居住用部分) heat-loss prevention renovation work, etc. (熱損失防止改修工事等) was done from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2031.
A house, other than one in sectional ownership (区分所有), of a kind a Cabinet Order (政令) sets, that has stood since on or before 1 April 2014 and became a certified long-life quality house (認定長期優良住宅) after heat loss prevention renovation work, etc. (熱損失防止改修工事等) was done in its residential part between 1 April 2022 and 31 March 2031; two thirds of its fixed asset tax (固定資産税) for the fiscal year after the work is completed is taken off.
土地等に係る事業所得等の金額
The amount, worked out as a Cabinet Order (政令) sets, of the business income or miscellaneous income under Article 28-4, paragraph 1 of the Act on Special Measures Concerning Taxation that a person liable for the income levy (所得割) had in the previous year, on which prefectural or municipal inhabitant tax is charged separately from other income.
交付金
The special grant for traffic safety measures (交通安全対策特別交付金) that the national government pays, for the time being, to prefectures and to municipalities, including Tokyo's special wards, to meet costs of installing and managing road traffic safety facilities that a Cabinet Order (政令) sets.

改正法
In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Cabinet Order No. 273 of 2001, the Act Partially Amending the Residential Basic Book Act (Act No. 133 of 1999).
In Article 9 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Cabinet Order No. 253 of 2010, the day after the date a Cabinet Order (政令) sets under Article 9 of the supplementary provisions of the amending Act (改正法) of those supplementary provisions, Act No. 77 of 2009, on which the mayor enters a resident record code (住民票コード) on each foreign resident's (外国人住民) certificate of residence (住民票).
In Article 2 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 60 of 2016, goods, services, or designated rights (指定権利) as defined in Article 2, paragraph (4) of this Act before Article 1 of that Act amended it.
免除土地
Land falling under Article 603-2, paragraph 1 — the site of an office, shop or other building or structure, or land used for a factory, sports ground or other facility, meeting the standards a Cabinet Order (政令) sets for permanent use, whose use the mayor (市町村長) has found fits planned land use in the area — on which special land holding tax (特別土地保有税) is exempted.
特定保険料
In Articles 9-4-3 and 9-4-9 of the supplementary provisions (附則), a premium a person may pay, with approval and until the specified premium payment deadline (特定保険料納付期限日), for months of a specified period (特定期間) that are not premium-paid time, within the limits of age and time that article sets.
In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 14 of 2020, the date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (iii) of those supplementary provisions, among them most of Article 2, which amended this Act, come into effect: a date set by Cabinet Order (政令) within six months of promulgation.
Depreciable assets (償却資産) newly acquired or improved (for improved ones, the improved part only) from the date the Act Partially Amending the Port and Harbour Act, etc. (Act No. 25 of 2025) came into effect to 31 March 2029, in an international strategic port, international hub port or major port under Article 2, paragraph 2 of the Port and Harbour Act, and used for agreement-designated port facilities (協定特定港湾施設) under Article 51-9, paragraph 3, item 1 of that Act, of a kind a Cabinet Order (政令) sets, that are provided for in a cooperative protection agreement (協働防護協定) made by the body carrying out an optimisation project in a published cooperative protection plan prepared with government subsidies of a kind an Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (総務省令) sets.
第四号施行日
In Article 5 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 52 of 2021, the date Article 2 of that Act comes into effect, a date set by Cabinet Order (政令) within two years of that Act's promulgation (公布, its official publication).
