新七年財特法（しんななねんざいとくほう）

In Article 4 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2001, the Act on Special Provisions on Transfer of Money for National Government Bonds Consolidation Fund, in Relation to Financial Management of Fiscal 1995 (Act No. 60 of 1995) as amended by Article 8 of those supplementary provisions.

新六年財特法（しんろくねんざいとくほう）

In Article 4 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2001, the Act on Special Provisions on Transfer of Money for National Government Bonds Consolidation Fund, in Relation to Financial Management of Fiscal 1994 (Act No. 43 of 1994) as amended by Article 7 of those supplementary provisions.

旧六年財特法（きゅうろくねんざいとくほう）

In Article 4 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2001, the Act on Special Provisions on Transfer of Money for National Government Bonds Consolidation Fund, in Relation to Financial Management of Fiscal 1994 (Act No. 43 of 1994) as it stood before Article 7 of those supplementary provisions amended it.

旧七年財特法（きゅうななねんざいとくほう）

In Article 4 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2001, the Act on Special Provisions on Transfer of Money for National Government Bonds Consolidation Fund, in Relation to Financial Management of Fiscal 1995 (Act No. 60 of 1995) as it stood before Article 8 of those supplementary provisions amended it.

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 47 of 2016, an approval or other disposition (処分), or another act, done under a law's provisions. Article 7 treats such an act done under the laws as they stood before that Act (or, for a provision Article 1 of its supplementary provisions lists, that provision) came into effect, where the official who is to handle the matter changes on the day it comes into effect, as done under the corresponding provisions of the laws as that Act amended them, except as these supplementary provisions or a Cabinet Order (政令) under Article 9 of them provide otherwise.

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 47 of 2016, an application for an approval or the like, or another act, made under a law's provisions. Article 7 treats such an application or act made under the laws as they stood before that Act (or, for a provision Article 1 of its supplementary provisions lists, that provision) and still pending when it came into effect, where the official who is to handle the matter changes on the day it comes into effect, as done under the corresponding provisions of the laws as that Act amended them, except as these supplementary provisions or a Cabinet Order (政令) under Article 9 of them provide otherwise.

第六号施行日（だいろくごうしこうび）

In Article 6 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 16 of 2019, the date, set by Cabinet Order (政令) within one year of that Act's promulgation (公布), on which the provisions listed in Article 1, item (vi) of those supplementary provisions come into effect.

海運支局長等（かいうんしきょくちょうとう）

In the supplementary provisions of Act No. 25 of 1984, the heads of the maritime branch offices (海運支局) and other local offices of a District Transport Bureau (地方運輸局) or of the Maritime Supervision Department (海運監理部), which take over from the branch office heads (支局長等) that were there before that Act comes into effect.

Article 160 treats such an act done under the laws as they stood before that Act came into effect, where the official who is to handle the matter changes on the day that Act comes into effect, as done under the corresponding provisions of the laws as that Act amended them, except as Articles 2 to 159 of its supplementary provisions or the transitional provisions of the amended laws, including orders made under them, provide otherwise.

交付金見込額（こうふきんみこみがく）

In the table of Article 18, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則), the cap on the grant (交付金) paid in September: the amount in Article 16, paragraph (3), item (ii) — expected penalty (反則金) receipts and interest from February of the previous fiscal year to January of the current one, less the expected refunds and notice-sending costs — plus any grant for earlier fiscal years not yet paid.

海運支局長等（かいうんしきょくちょうとう）

In the supplementary provisions of Act No. 25 of 1984, the heads of the maritime branch offices (海運支局) and other local offices of a District Transport Bureau (地方運輸局) or of the Maritime Supervision Department (海運監理部), which take over from the branch office heads (支局長等) that were there before that Act comes into effect.

第二号施行日（だいにごうしこうび）

1 August 2020, the date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (ii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 14 of 2020 come into effect.

第三号施行日（だいさんごうしこうび）

1 October 2022, the date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (iii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 12 of 2022 come into effect.
