事業
In Article 7, a business covered by workers’ accident compensation insurance (労働者災害補償保険); where Article 8 of the Act on the Collection, etc. of Insurance Premiums of Labor Insurance treats a business carried out through several layers of subcontracting as one business with the prime contractor as its employer, the business as it would stand without that Article.

労働者
A worker as defined in Article 9 of the Labor Standards Act — a person of any occupation who is employed at a business or office and paid wages — except a person employed at a business or office that employs only relatives living with the employer, and a domestic worker (家事使用人).

Everything an employer pays a worker in return for work, whatever it is called: wages, salary, allowances or bonuses.

In the supplementary provisions of Act No. 85 of 1980, a permission, approval or other disposition, or a contract or other act, that a national government body affected by that Act’s amendments made under an Act (法律) or an order made under one before that Act comes into effect.
