In Article 24 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 25 of 1984, an application, notification or other act. In Article 3, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 55 of 2004, the permission under Article 36-2, paragraph (1) of this Act as amended by Act No. 55 of 2004, which a person holding a former permission (旧許可) when that Act's amendments to Article 36-2 came into effect is deemed to have received on the date they came into effect (一部施行日); it is valid for the longest of the remaining validity periods (有効期間) of that person's former permissions on that date.

七年新法
The Local Tax Act as amended by Article 2 of Act No. 4 of 2024, which comes into effect on 1 April 2025.
