新国民健康保険法（しんこくみんけんこうほけんほう）

In Article 47, paragraph (4), item (iii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 47 of 2024, the National Health Insurance Act (Act No. 192 of 1958) as amended by Article 8 of that Act.

Short name, in the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 39 of 2025, for the Act on Punishment of Organized Crimes and Control of Proceeds of Crime.

昭和四十年改正法（しょうわよんじゅうねんかいせいほう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 32 of 1976, the Act Partially Amending the Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Act (Act No. 130 of 1965) as it stood before Article 2 of Act No. 32 of 1976 amended it.

旧厚生年金適用者（きゅうこうせいねんきんてきようしゃ）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 61 of 1988, a person described in Article 63, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 34 of 1985: one born on or before 1 April 1926, or one who on the day before that Act came into effect was entitled to an old-age pension under the former Employees' Pension Insurance Act (旧厚生年金保険法) or the former mariners insurance law (旧船員保険法), or to a retirement pension or reduced retirement pension from a mutual aid association (共済組合) and had then reached 55.

This Act as amended by Article 8 of Act No. 47 of 2024.

平成十三年統合法（へいせいじゅうさんねんとうごうほう）

Short name for Act No. 101 of 2001, the 2001 Act that abolished the law on the mutual aid association for employees of agricultural, forestry and fishery organisations and other laws, to integrate that association's system into Employees' Pension Insurance (厚生年金保険).

特定付加対象期間（とくていふかたいしょうきかん）

In Articles 12 and 13 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 64 of 2014, premium-paid time as a category 1 insured person (第一号被保険者), within ten years before the month of approval, for which a person would have been paying additional premiums (付加保険料) had Article 87-2, paragraph (4) of this Act as it stood before the 2012 amendment not been applied to them for missing a due date.

経過措置事業年度（けいかそちじぎょうねんど）

In Article 17, paragraphs (2) to (4) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 13 of 2025, a business year beginning on or after the day that Act came into effect, of a corporation that before that day made a lease transfer (リース譲渡) under Article 63, paragraph (1) of the Corporation Tax Act as it stood before that Act (旧法人税法), or took over the contract for one.

特定権利販売契約（とくていけんりはんばいけいやく）

A contract under which a seller sells, for more than an amount a Cabinet Order (政令) sets, a right to receive specified continuous services (特定継続的役務) for longer than the period a Cabinet Order sets for those services.

Short name for Act No. 9 of 1999, the 1999 Act partially amending the Act on Special Measures Concerning Taxation and the Act on Temporary Special Provisions of Acts Related to National Tax, in Relation to Victims, etc. of Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake.

適格分社型分割等（てきかくぶんしゃがたぶんかつとう）

In Article 20 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 7 of 2001, a qualified company split by spin-off (as defined in Article 2(2)(xvi) of this Act as that Act amended it), a qualified capital contribution in kind (適格現物出資) or a qualified post-formation acquisition of assets (適格事後設立).

令和二年旧措置法（れいわにねんきゅうそちほう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of several earlier amending Acts, this Act as it stood before Article 16 of the Act Partially Amending the Income Tax Act, etc. (Act No. 8 of 2020) amended it, named there to refer to terms of that wording such as the consolidated business year (連結事業年度) of its Article 2, paragraph (2), item (xix).

通知カード所持者（つうちかーどしょじしゃ）

In Article 6 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 16 of 2019, a person who, on the date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (vi) of those supplementary provisions came into effect, held a notification card (通知カード) issued under Article 7(1) or (2), or Article 3(1) to (3) of the supplementary provisions, of the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures as it stood before Article 4 of Act No. 16 of 2019 amended it.

旧介護老人保健施設（きゅうかいごろうじんほけんしせつ）

In Articles 7 and 8 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 52 of 2017, a long-term care health facility (介護老人保健施設) existing when that Act came into effect, as Article 8, paragraph (28) defined it before Article 1 of that Act amended it: a facility, permitted by the prefectural governor under Article 94, paragraph (1), for giving persons requiring long-term care whose need for treatment meets a Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Order (厚生労働省令) nursing, care under medical management, functional training and other necessary medical care, and care in daily life, under a facility service plan (施設サービス計画); Article 7 treats it as a long-term care health facility under the Act as amended.
