療養病床
A long-term care bed (療養病床) as defined in Article 7, paragraph (2), item (iv) of the Medical Care Act: a hospital or clinic bed, other than a psychiatric, infectious disease or tuberculosis bed, mainly for patients who need medical care over a long period.

促進区域
In Article 10-4 and Article 42-11-2, the promotion area defined in Article 4, paragraph (2), item (i) of the Act on Strengthening a Framework for Regional Growth and Development by Promoting Regional Economy Advancement Projects, for the approved regional economy-driving business (承認地域経済牽引事業) concerned.
The period from the day Act No. 47 of 2017 came into effect to 31 March 2028 within which an individual running an approved regional economy advancement project (承認地域経済牽引事業) must newly build or expand the facilities of its approved plan in the promotion area (促進区域) for the special depreciation or credit of Article 10-4.
