A designated motor vehicle maintenance business operator must, for each place of business, appoint a motor vehicle inspector from among persons who meet the requirements, such as a certain practical experience in the inspection of motor vehicles, prescribed by Order of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
指定自動車整備事業者は、事業場ごとに、自動車の検査について国土交通省令で定める一定の実務の経験その他の要件を備える者のうちから、自動車検査員を選任しなければならない。
A motor vehicle inspector cannot become a motor vehicle inspector of another place of business. However, this does not apply to another place of business of the same designated motor vehicle maintenance business operator that meets the requirements prescribed by Order of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism with respect to location and other matters.
自動車検査員は、他の事業場の自動車検査員となることができない。ただし、同一の指定自動車整備事業者の他の事業場で、位置その他について国土交通省令で定める要件を備えるものについては、この限りでない。
When a designated motor vehicle maintenance business operator has appointed a motor vehicle inspector, it must notify the Director of a District Transport Bureau to that effect within 15 days from the day of the appointment. The same applies when it has changed this.
指定自動車整備事業者は、自動車検査員を選任したときは、その日から十五日以内に、地方運輸局長にその旨を届け出なければならない。これを変更したときも、同様とする。
If a motor vehicle inspector has committed a wrongful act in relation to the inspector's duties, or has otherwise violated this Act or the provisions of an order under this Act, the Director of a District Transport Bureau may order the designated motor vehicle maintenance business operator to dismiss the motor vehicle inspector.
地方運輸局長は、自動車検査員がその業務について不正の行為をしたとき、又はその他この法律若しくはこの法律に基づく命令の規定に違反したときは、指定自動車整備事業者に対し、自動車検査員の解任を命ずることができる。
A person who has been dismissed from the position of motor vehicle inspector or light motor vehicle inspector by an order under the preceding paragraph or Article 76-32, paragraph (4), and for whom two years have not elapsed from the day of dismissal, cannot become a motor vehicle inspector.
前項又は第七十六条の三十二第四項の規定による命令により自動車検査員又は軽自動車検査員の職を解任され、解任の日から二年を経過しない者は、自動車検査員となることができない。
