Article 36Obligation to Display Temporary Operation Permit Number Plates, etc.
第三十六条（臨時運行許可番号標表示等の義務）
A motor vehicle covered by permission for temporary operation must not be put to operation unless it satisfies the following requirements:
the temporary operation permit number plate is displayed in the position specified by Order of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and by a method specified by Order of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism as one that, by not covering the plate or otherwise, does not impede the identification of the number stated on the temporary operation permit number plate; and
臨時運行許可番号標を国土交通省令で定める位置に、かつ、被覆しないことその他当該臨時運行許可番号標に記載された番号の識別に支障が生じないものとして国土交通省令で定める方法により表示していること。
the temporary operation permit is kept in the motor vehicle.
臨時運行許可証を備え付けていること。
