Supplementary Provisions, Article 11Special Provisions for a Designated City
第十一条（指定都市の特例）
For the application of the provisions of Articles 2 through 7 and Article 9 of the Supplementary Provisions to a designated city under Article 252-19, paragraph (1) of the Local Autonomy Act (Act No. 67 of 1947), wards and administratively consolidated wards are deemed to be cities, and heads of wards and administratively consolidated ward mayors are deemed to be mayors of cities.
地方自治法（昭和二十二年法律第六十七号）第二百五十二条の十九第一項の指定都市に対する附則第二条から第七条まで及び第九条の規定の適用については、区及び総合区を市と、区長及び総合区長を市長とみなす。
