Supplementary Provisions, Article 12Transitional Measures Accompanying Partial Amendment of the Medical Care Act
第十二条（医療法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
During the period from the Effective Date until the day before the date on which the Japan Pension Organization Act comes into effect, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 7-2, paragraph (1), item (viii) of the Medical Care Act as amended by the provisions of the preceding Article, the term "facilities" in that item is replaced with "facilities, and facilities whose operation the government may continue to carry out pursuant to the provisions of Article 4 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the National Pension Act, etc. for Improving the Management of National Pension Services, etc. (Act No. 110 of 2007)".
施行日から日本年金機構法の施行の日の前日までの間においては、前条の規定による改正後の医療法第七条の二第一項第八号の規定にかかわらず、同号中「の施設」とあるのは、「の施設並びに国民年金事業等の運営の改善のための国民年金法等の一部を改正する法律（平成十九年法律第百十号）附則第四条の規定により政府が運営を引き続き行うことができる施設」とする。
