Article 35-2-2Completion of Transaction Associated with Rescission of Registration
第三十五条の二の二（登録の取消し等に伴う取引の結了等）
If a registered comprehensive credit purchase intermediary has its registration rescinded pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (1) or paragraph (2) of Article 34-2, or has its registration deleted pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (1), item (ii) or (iii) of Article 34-3, the one who used to be the registered comprehensive credit purchase intermediary or its general successor is still deemed to be a registered comprehensive credit purchase intermediary within the scope of the purpose of completing the transactions related to the cards, etc. issued or granted by the relevant registered comprehensive credit purchase intermediary.
登録包括信用購入あつせん業者が第三十四条の二第一項若しくは第二項の規定により登録を取り消されたとき、又は第三十四条の三第一項第二号若しくは第三号の規定により登録が消除されたときは、当該登録包括信用購入あつせん業者であつた者又はその一般承継人は、当該登録包括信用購入あつせん業者が交付し又は付与したカード等に係る取引を結了する目的の範囲内においては、なお登録包括信用購入あつせん業者とみなす。

In the rules on the intermediation of comprehensive credit purchases (包括信用購入あつせん), a card or other object, or a number, symbol or other code, that a user is given and can present, quote or hand over to buy goods or rights from particular sellers, or receive services from particular service providers, for payment — a credit card or its number, for example.

A corporation registered in the comprehensive credit purchase intermediary register kept at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry; apart from the bodies Article 35-3-60, paragraph (1), item (iv) refers to, only such a corporation may carry on the intermediation of comprehensive credit purchases (包括信用購入あつせん) as a business.
