Supplementary Provisions, Article 3Transitional Measures Accompanying Partial Amendment of the Domestic Relations Case Procedure Act
第三条（家事事件手続法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
The provisions of Articles 3-2 through 3-10, Article 3-11, paragraphs (1) through (3), Article 3-12, Article 3-13, paragraph (1) (limited to the parts pertaining to items (i) and (ii)) and paragraph (3) (limited to the part pertaining to paragraph (1), item (ii) of that Article), Article 3-14 and Article 3-15 of the Domestic Relations Case Procedure Act as amended by the provisions of Article 2 (hereinafter referred to as the "New Domestic Relations Case Procedure Act" in this Article) do not apply to the jurisdiction of the Japanese courts over domestic relations cases pending at the time of the enforcement of this Act.
The provisions of Article 3-11, paragraphs (4) and (5) of the New Domestic Relations Case Procedure Act do not apply to an agreement made before the enforcement of this Act that a petition for an adjudication case prescribed in paragraph (4) of that Article may be filed with the courts of a specific country.
新家事事件手続法第三条の十一第四項及び第五項の規定は、この法律の施行前にした特定の国の裁判所に同条第四項に規定する審判事件の申立てをすることができる旨の合意については、適用しない。
The provisions of Article 3-13, paragraph (1) (limited to the part pertaining to item (iii)), paragraph (2) and paragraph (3) (limited to the part pertaining to paragraph (1), item (iii) of that Article) of the New Domestic Relations Case Procedure Act do not apply to an agreement made before the enforcement of this Act that a petition for mediation of domestic relations may be filed with the Japanese courts.
新家事事件手続法第三条の十三第一項（第三号に係る部分に限る。）、第二項及び第三項（同条第一項第三号に係る部分に限る。）の規定は、この法律の施行前にした日本の裁判所に家事調停の申立てをすることができる旨の合意については、適用しない。
The provisions of Article 79-2 of the New Domestic Relations Case Procedure Act do not apply to a judicial decision in a domestic relations case of a foreign court that became final and binding before the enforcement of this Act (including an equivalent determination made by a public authority).
新家事事件手続法第七十九条の二の規定は、この法律の施行前に確定した外国裁判所の家事事件における裁判（これに準ずる公的機関の判断を含む。）については、適用しない。
