When a mediation committee finds that because of the nature of a case it is unsuitable for mediation, or finds that a party has filed a petition for mediation for an unjust purpose and without good reason, the mediation committee may close the case for mediation of domestic relations, deciding not to conduct a mediation.
調停委員会は、事件が性質上調停を行うのに適当でないと認めるとき、又は当事者が不当な目的でみだりに調停の申立てをしたと認めるときは、調停をしないものとして、家事調停事件を終了させることができる。
