Article 262Investigation of Facts by Domestic Relations Mediation Commissioner
第二百六十二条（家事調停委員による事実の調査）
A mediation committee may, when it finds it to be appropriate, have a domestic relations mediation commissioner who composes the mediation committee investigate facts; provided, however, that this does not apply when it finds it to be appropriate to have a family court investigating officer examine the facts.
調停委員会は、相当と認めるときは、当該調停委員会を組織する家事調停委員に事実の調査をさせることができる。ただし、家庭裁判所調査官に事実の調査をさせることを相当と認めるときは、この限りでない。
