Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on April 1, 2007; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect on the dates specified in those items:
この法律は、平成十九年四月一日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
Article 2, paragraph (2) (excluding items (xxii) and (xxiv)), Articles 4 through 10 and Articles 13 through 28, the following Article, Articles 5 through 7, Articles 9 through 12 and Articles 14 through 18 of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions amending Articles 189 and 190 of the Act on the Arrangement of Related Acts upon the Enforcement of the Act Partially Amending the Securities and Exchange Act, etc. (Act No. 66 of 2006) and the provisions amending Article 196 of that Act (limited to the part deleting the provision amending Article 127 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Act on Book-Entry Transfer of Corporate Bonds, etc. and Other Acts to Rationalize Settlement of Transactions in Shares, etc. (Act No. 88 of 2004)) in Article 19 of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions of Article 20 of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions amending Article 8 of the Act for Establishment of the Financial Services Agency (Act No. 130 of 1998) and the provisions amending Article 20, paragraph (1) of that Act in Article 23 of the Supplementary Provisions, and the provisions of Article 27 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year from the date of promulgation;
第二条第二項（第二十二号及び第二十四号を除く。）、第四条から第十条まで及び第十三条から第二十八条までの規定並びに次条、附則第五条から第七条まで、附則第九条から第十二条まで及び附則第十四条から第十八条までの規定、附則第十九条中証券取引法等の一部を改正する法律の施行に伴う関係法律の整備等に関する法律（平成十八年法律第六十六号）第百八十九条及び第百九十条の改正規定並びに同法第百九十六条の改正規定（株式等の取引に係る決済の合理化を図るための社債等の振替に関する法律等の一部を改正する法律（平成十六年法律第八十八号）附則第百二十七条の改正規定を削る部分に限る。）、附則第二十条の規定、附則第二十三条中金融庁設置法（平成十年法律第百三十号）第八条の改正規定及び同法第二十条第一項の改正規定並びに附則第二十七条の規定 公布の日から起算して一年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日
the provisions of Article 2, paragraph (2), item (xxii): the date specified in the preceding item (hereinafter referred to as the "Partial Effective Date") or the date of enforcement of the Act Partially Amending the Securities and Exchange Act, etc. (Act No. 65 of 2006), whichever is later;
第二条第二項第二十二号の規定 前号に定める日（以下「一部施行日」という。）又は証券取引法等の一部を改正する法律（平成十八年法律第六十五号）の施行の日のいずれか遅い日
the provisions of Article 2, paragraph (2), item (xxiv): the Partial Effective Date or the date of enforcement of the Act on the Arrangement of Related Acts upon the Enforcement of the Trust Act (Act No. 109 of 2006), whichever is later;
第二条第二項第二十四号の規定 一部施行日又は信託法の施行に伴う関係法律の整備等に関する法律（平成十八年法律第百九号）の施行の日のいずれか遅い日
the provisions of Article 8 of the Supplementary Provisions: the Partial Effective Date or the date of enforcement of the Act on the Arrangement of Related Acts upon the Enforcement of the Act Partially Amending the Securities and Exchange Act, etc., whichever is later.
