附 則
This Act comes into effect as of the day specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding six months from the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して六月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。
With a target of three years after this Act comes into effect, the government is to, taking into account the status of implementation of the provisions as amended by this Act, the status of use in civil litigation of documents related to the litigation of a criminal case, the case records in juvenile protective cases, and documents seized in these cases (referred to below as "criminal case documents, etc."), and other circumstances, conduct a review of the system of orders to submit a document concerning criminal case documents, etc. and other documents that a public officer or a person who was a public officer keeps or possesses in connection with their duties, and take necessary measures based on the results.
政府は、この法律の施行後三年を目途として、この法律による改正後の規定の実施状況並びに刑事事件に係る訴訟に関する書類及び少年の保護事件の記録並びにこれらの事件において押収されている文書（以下「刑事事件関係書類等」という。）の民事訴訟における利用状況等を勘案し、刑事事件関係書類等その他の公務員又は公務員であった者がその職務に関し保管し、又は所持する文書を対象とする文書提出命令の制度について検討を加え、その結果に基づいて必要な措置を講ずるものとする。
