第八条（検討）
With regard to the child allowance system under the Child Allowance Act, in light of the purpose of the child allowance system, and taking into consideration the status of implementation of the child allowance system after the enforcement of this Act, changes in socioeconomic conditions, and so forth, review is to be conducted on all aspects of it, including the way benefits and cost burden should be arranged, and necessary measures such as revision are to be taken based on the results.
児童手当法による児童手当制度については、児童手当制度の目的を踏まえ、この法律の施行後における児童手当制度の実施状況、社会経済情勢の推移等を勘案し、給付及び費用負担の在り方を含め、その全般に関して検討が加えられ、その結果に基づき、必要な見直し等の措置が講ぜられるべきものとする。
