An application, notification or any other act (hereinafter referred to as an "application, etc." in this Article) made before this Act comes into effect to a Director of a District Maritime Bureau, the Director of the Maritime Supervision Department, a branch office head, etc. or a Director of a District Land Transport Bureau is, pursuant to the provisions of Cabinet Order (or, for an application, etc. made to a branch office head, etc., Order of the Ministry of Transport), deemed to be an application, etc. made to the corresponding director of a regional transportation bureau, Director of the Maritime Supervision Department or maritime branch office head, etc. pursuant to the provisions of the respective laws as amended by this Act or orders based on them.
