Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the date on which the Local Independent Administrative Agency Act (Act No. 118 of 2003) comes into effect; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following item come into effect as of the date specified in that item.
この法律は、地方独立行政法人法（平成十五年法律第百十八号）の施行の日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
the provisions of Article 6: the date on which the Act on the Protection of Personal Information comes into effect or the date on which this Act comes into effect, whichever is later.
第六条の規定 個人情報の保護に関する法律の施行の日又はこの法律の施行の日のいずれか遅い日
Supplementary Provisions, Article 6Delegation of Other Transitional Measures to Cabinet Order
第六条（その他の経過措置の政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in these Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary incidental to the enforcement of this Act are specified by Cabinet Order.
この附則に規定するもののほか、この法律の施行に伴い必要な経過措置は、政令で定める。
