Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding 3 years from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the dates specified respectively in those items.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して三年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。

the provisions of Chapter XI, Article 235, Article 239, paragraph (1) (limited to the part concerning item (xliv)), Article 243, paragraph (1) (limited to the part concerning item (iv) (limited to the part concerning Article 239, paragraph (1), item (xliv))) and paragraph (3), and Article 251, and Article 5, Articles 7 through 10, Article 12, Article 14 (limited to the provision amending Article 19, paragraph (2) of the Act on Promotion of Development of Specified Integrated Resort Districts), Article 15, and Article 16 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year and six months from the date of promulgation.
