Article 162Application, Mutatis Mutandis, of the Code of Civil Procedure Concerning Service of Documents
第百六十二条（送達に関する民事訴訟法の準用）
The provisions of Article 100, paragraph (1), Article 101, Article 102-2, Article 103, Article 105, Article 106, and Article 108 of the Code of Civil Procedure apply mutatis mutandis to the service under the preceding Article. In this case, the term "court" in Article 100, paragraph (1) of the Code and the term "presiding judge" in Article 108 of the Code are deemed to be replaced by "Personal Information Protection Commission", and the term "court execution officer" in Article 101, paragraph (1) of the Code is deemed to be replaced by "official of the Personal Information Protection Commission".
前条の規定による送達については、民事訴訟法第百条第一項、第百一条、第百二条の二、第百三条、第百五条、第百六条及び第百八条の規定を準用する。この場合において、同項中「裁判所」とあり、及び同条中「裁判長」とあるのは「個人情報保護委員会」と、同法第百一条第一項中「執行官」とあるのは「個人情報保護委員会の職員」と読み替えるものとする。
