A person who has received specified electronic mail may, when the person finds that specified electronic mail has been sent in violation of the provisions of Articles 3 through 5, petition the Minister or the Prime Minister to take appropriate measures.
特定電子メールの受信をした者は、第三条から第五条までの規定に違反して特定電子メールの送信がされたと認めるときは、総務大臣又は内閣総理大臣に対し、適当な措置をとるべきことを申し出ることができる。
When a minister set forth in either of the following items has received a petition pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph (excluding when the petition is made to the Minister and the Prime Minister), that minister is to promptly notify the minister specified in that item to that effect:
次の各号に掲げる大臣は、前項の規定による申出を受けたとき（当該申出が総務大臣及び内閣総理大臣に対するものであるときを除く。）は、速やかに、その旨をそれぞれ当該各号に定める大臣に通知するものとする。

A person who is offering electronic mail services may, when the person finds that electronic mail has been sent to fictitious electronic mail addresses in violation of the provisions of Article 6, petition the Minister to take appropriate measures.
電子メール通信役務を提供する者は、第六条の規定に違反して架空電子メールアドレスをそのあて先とする電子メールの送信がされたと認めるときは、総務大臣に対し、適当な措置をとるべきことを申し出ることができる。
The Minister or the Prime Minister must, when they have received a petition pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (1), implement necessary investigation, and when they find it necessary based upon results of the investigation, take measures based upon this Act and other appropriate measures.
総務大臣又は内閣総理大臣は、第一項の規定による申出を受けたときは、必要な調査を行い、その結果に基づき必要があると認めるときは、この法律に基づく措置その他適当な措置をとらなければならない。
