第二条（経過措置）
The provisions of Article 4, paragraphs (4) and (5) (limited to the part concerning item (iii)) of the Consumer Contract Act as amended by this Act (hereinafter referred to as "the new Act") (including where these provisions are applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 5, paragraph (1) of the new Act) do not apply to a manifestation of an intention to be bound by the offer of a consumer contract or by the acceptance of such an offer made before this Act comes into effect.
With regard to the rescission right pertaining to a manifestation of an intention to be bound by the offer of a consumer contract or by the acceptance of such an offer made before this Act comes into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 7, paragraph (1) of the new Act.
With regard to the clauses of a consumer contract entered into before this Act comes into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 8, paragraph (1), items (iii) and (iv) of the new Act.
この法律の施行前に締結された消費者契約の条項については、新法第八条第一項第三号及び第四号の規定にかかわらず、なお従前の例による。
The provisions of Article 8-2 of the new Act do not apply to the clauses of a consumer contract entered into before this Act comes into effect.
