Supplementary Provisions
附 則
This Act comes into effect as of April 1, 2009; provided, however, that the provisions of Articles 2 and 4 come into effect as of the date on which the Act Partially Amending the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions and the Installment Sales Act (Act No. 74 of 2008) comes into effect.
この法律は、平成二十一年四月一日から施行する。ただし、第二条及び第四条の規定は、特定商取引に関する法律及び割賦販売法の一部を改正する法律（平成二十年法律第七十四号）の施行の日から施行する。
With regard to the procedures for certification and authorization concerning an application for certification under Article 13, paragraph (1) of the Consumer Contract Act and applications for authorization under Article 19, paragraph (3) and Article 20, paragraph (3) of that Act that were filed before the provisions of Article 1 or Article 2 come into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern, notwithstanding the provisions of that Act as amended by the provisions of Article 1 or Article 2, respectively.
第一条又は第二条の規定の施行前にされた消費者契約法第十三条第一項の認定の申請並びに同法第十九条第三項及び第二十条第三項の認可の申請に係る認定及び認可に関する手続については、それぞれ第一条又は第二条の規定による改正後の同法の規定にかかわらず、なお従前の例による。
With regard to the application of penal provisions to acts committed before the provisions of Article 1 or Article 2 come into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern, notwithstanding the provisions of the Consumer Contract Act as amended by the provisions of Article 1 or Article 2, respectively.
第一条又は第二条の規定の施行前にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、それぞれ第一条又は第二条の規定による改正後の消費者契約法の規定にかかわらず、なお従前の例による。
