Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the day on which one year has elapsed from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the dates specified respectively in those items.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して一年を経過した日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
the provision amending Article 5, paragraph (2) (limited to the part replacing "and Article 7" with "through Article 7"), the provision adding one Article after Article 6, and the provisions of Article 3 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date on which the Act Partially Amending the Civil Code (Act No. 44 of 2017) comes into effect;
第五条第二項の改正規定（「及び第七条」を「から第七条まで」に改める部分に限る。）、第六条の次に一条を加える改正規定及び附則第三条の規定 民法の一部を改正する法律（平成二十九年法律第四十四号）の施行の日
the provisions of Article 6 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of promulgation of the Act on the Arrangement of Related Acts upon the Enforcement of the Act Partially Amending the Civil Code (Act No. 45 of 2017) or the date of promulgation of this Act, whichever is later.
附則第六条の規定 民法の一部を改正する法律の施行に伴う関係法律の整備等に関する法律（平成二十九年法律第四十五号）の公布の日又はこの法律の公布の日のいずれか遅い日
