第一条（施行期日等）
This Act comes into effect on August 1, 1985; provided, however, that the provisions adding two paragraphs to Article 4, the provisions amending Article 29, paragraph (1) (limited to the part adding ", the parents of a child who falls under Article 4, paragraph (1), item (i), (a) or item (ii), (a)" after ", the child") and the provisions amending Article 30, and the provisions of the following Article come into effect on the date specified by Cabinet Order.
この法律は、昭和六十年八月一日から施行する。ただし、第四条に二項を加える改正規定、第二十九条第一項の改正規定（「、当該児童」の下に「、第四条第一項第一号イ若しくは第二号イに該当する児童の父母」を加える部分に限る。）及び第三十条の改正規定並びに次条の規定は、政令で定める日から施行する。
In specifying the Cabinet Order prescribed in the proviso to the preceding paragraph, the Government must take into consideration the status of performance of the duty of support toward the child by parents who have dissolved their marriage, the status of the methods of ascertaining the income of that father or mother, and other such matters.
