Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から施行する。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 15Transitional Measures Accompanying Partial Amendment of the Electricians Act
第十五条（電気工事士法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
With regard to a notification in the case where, before the provisions of Article 14 come into effect, there has been the commencement, a change in the particulars notified, or the discontinuance of the business of electrical work prescribed in Article 8 of that Act with respect to an electrician prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (4) of the Electricians Act prior to amendment by the provisions of that Article, a qualified special electrical worker prescribed in Article 3, paragraph (3) of that Act, or a certified electrical worker prescribed in paragraph (4) of that Article, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
Supplementary Provisions, Article 17Transitional Measures Concerning Penal Provisions
第十七条（罰則に関する経過措置）
As to the applicability of penal provisions to acts which a person conducts before this Act comes into effect, and the applicability of penal provisions to acts which a person conducts after this Act comes into effect in cases where the provisions then in force continue to govern pursuant to the Supplementary Provisions of this Act, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
この法律の施行前にした行為及びこの法律の附則においてなお従前の例によることとされる場合におけるこの法律の施行後にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 18Delegation to Cabinet Order
第十八条（政令への委任）
In addition to what is provided for in Article 2 through the preceding Article of the Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary for the enforcement of this Act are specified by Cabinet Order.
附則第二条から前条までに定めるもののほか、この法律の施行に関して必要な経過措置は、政令で定める。
