Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the day on which one year has elapsed from the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して一年を経過した日から施行する。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Transitional Measures Accompanying Partial Amendment of the Electricians Act
第二条（電気工事士法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
The provisions of Article 3, paragraphs (1) and (3) of the Electricians Act as amended by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "New Electricians Act") do not apply for two years from the date on which this Act comes into effect (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date").

第三条
An electrician license issued pursuant to the provisions of Article 4, paragraph (1) of the Electricians Act prior to amendment by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "Former Electricians Act") is deemed to be a Class 2 electrician license issued pursuant to the provisions of Article 4, paragraph (2) of the New Electricians Act.
第一条の規定による改正前の電気工事士法（以下「旧電気工事士法」という。）第四条第一項の規定により交付された電気工事士免状は、新電気工事士法第四条第二項の規定により交付された第二種電気工事士免状とみなす。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 4
第四条
A person who has passed the electrician examination prescribed in Article 6, paragraph (1) of the Former Electricians Act is deemed to be a person who has passed the Class 2 electrician examination prescribed in Article 6, paragraph (1) of the New Electricians Act.
旧電気工事士法第六条第一項に規定する電気工事士試験に合格した者は、新電気工事士法第六条第一項に規定する第二種電気工事士試験に合格した者とみなす。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 5
第五条
A person who has completed, at a training facility designated by the Minister of International Trade and Industry under Article 4, paragraph (2), item (ii) of the Former Electricians Act, a course on the knowledge and skills necessary to be an electrician specified by Order of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry under that item, is deemed to be a person who has completed, at a training facility designated by the Minister of International Trade and Industry under Article 4, paragraph (4), item (ii) of the New Electricians Act, a course on the knowledge and skills necessary to be a Class 2 electrician specified by Order of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry under that item.
旧電気工事士法第四条第二項第二号の通商産業大臣が指定する養成施設において同号の通商産業省令で定める電気工事士たるに必要な知識及び技能に関する課程を修了した者は、新電気工事士法第四条第四項第二号の通商産業大臣が指定する養成施設において同号の通商産業省令で定める第二種電気工事士たるに必要な知識及び技能に関する課程を修了した者とみなす。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 6
第六条
A person who, after receiving the issuance of an electrician license pursuant to the provisions of Article 4, paragraph (1) of the Former Electricians Act, has three or more years of practical experience in work relating to electricity specified by Order of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, or who has ten or more years of practical experience in that work relating to electricity, and who has, during the period until the day on which two years have elapsed from the Effective Date, completed a course on the safety of electric facilities for private use (meaning the electric facilities for private use prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (2) of the New Electricians Act; the same applies hereinafter) given by a person designated by the Minister of International Trade and Industry, as provided by Order of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, is deemed to be a person who falls under Article 4, paragraph (3), item (i) of the New Electricians Act.
旧電気工事士法第四条第一項の規定により電気工事士免状の交付を受けた後通商産業省令で定める電気に関する工事に関し三年以上の実務の経験を有する者又は当該電気に関する工事に関し十年以上の実務の経験を有する者であつて、施行日から起算して二年を経過する日までの間に、通商産業省令で定めるところにより、通商産業大臣の指定する者が行う自家用電気工作物（新電気工事士法第二条第二項に規定する自家用電気工作物をいう。以下同じ。）の保安に関する講習を修了したものは、新電気工事士法第四条第三項第一号に該当する者とみなす。

第七条
A disposition, procedure or other act carried out pursuant to the provisions of the Former Electricians Act is deemed to be a disposition, procedure or other act carried out pursuant to the corresponding provisions of the New Electricians Act.
