第二条（検討）
Aiming at five years after the enforcement of this Act, the government is to take into account the status of the enforcement of this Act, etc., review how the regulations based on the provisions of the respective medical insurance Acts amended by this Act and the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People as amended by the provisions of Article 7 (hereinafter referred to as the "Elderly Medical Care Assurance Act") should be, and, if it finds it necessary, take required measures based on the results.
政府は、この法律の施行後五年を目途として、この法律の施行の状況等を勘案し、この法律により改正された医療保険各法及び第七条の規定による改正後の高齢者の医療の確保に関する法律（以下「高齢者医療確保法」という。）の規定に基づく規制の在り方について検討を加え、必要があると認めるときは、その結果に基づいて所要の措置を講ずるものとする。
