Article 6-2-2Measures Where an Insured Person under Article 4-6, paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Forfeits Status as an Insured Person

①Where an insured person under Article 4-6, paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act (meaning an insured person under the provisions of paragraph (2) of that Article prescribed in Article 4-6, paragraph (5) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act; the same applies hereinafter) forfeits status as an insured person pursuant to paragraph (6) of that Article (limited to the part pertaining to item (i)), confirmation by JPS under Article 18, paragraph (1) of the Act is not to be required.

②With regard to the application of Article 26, paragraph (1) (limited to the portion pertaining to item (ii)) and Article 43, paragraph (3) of the Act, and Article 9-3, paragraph (4), Article 9-4, paragraph (5) and Article 16, paragraph (3) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act, to an insured person under Article 4-6, paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act, the phrase "any of" in these provisions is deemed to be replaced with "or Article 4-6, paragraph (6), item (ii) of the Supplementary Provisions, any of".
