Article 4-2-3

一lump-sum withdrawal payments under Article 29, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act;

二benefits equivalent to the amount of insurance benefits that would increase if the amount of insurance benefits were calculated on the assumption that none of the members and former members of the employees' pension fund prescribed in Article 3, item (xii) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 2013 Amendment Act had been members;

三disability lump-sum payments under Article 32, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 2012 Pension Unification Act (including where the provisions then in force are followed pursuant to Article 48-2 of the Private School Personnel Mutual Aid Association Act);

四national public officers' mutual aid pensions before the 2012 unification (excluding the disability mutual aid pension due to official duties, etc. prescribed in Article 82, paragraph (2) of the National Public Officers Mutual Aid Association Act Before the 2012 Unification as Still in Force (meaning the National Public Officers Mutual Aid Association Act prior to the amendment by Article 2 of the 2012 Pension Unification Act that remains in force pursuant to Article 37, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 2012 Pension Unification Act; the same applies hereinafter) and the survivors' mutual aid pension due to official duties, etc. prescribed in Article 89, paragraph (3) of the National Public Officers Mutual Aid Association Act Before the 2012 Unification as Still in Force) and pension benefits under the pre-1985 National Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act (excluding disability pensions under Article 81, paragraph (1), item (i) of the pre-1985 National Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act and pensions for surviving family under Article 88, item (i) of the pre-1985 National Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act);

五retirement mutual aid pensions, disability mutual aid pensions and survivors' mutual aid pensions under Article 41, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 2012 Pension Unification Act;

六retirement lump-sum payments paid under the provisions then in force pursuant to Article 7 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Act on Revision of the Amount of Pensions from National Public Servants Mutual Aid Associations, Etc. for the 1967 Fiscal Year and After, Etc. (Act No. 72 of 1979) (including where the provisions are followed pursuant to Article 48-2 of the Private School Personnel Mutual Aid Association Act), lump-sum withdrawal payments and special lump-sum death payments paid under the provisions then in force pursuant to Article 61 of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1985 National Public Officers Mutual Aid Amendment Act (including where the provisions are followed pursuant to Article 48-2 of the Private School Personnel Mutual Aid Association Act), and lump-sum refund payments and lump-sum death payments paid under the provisions then in force pursuant to Article 85 of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1985 National Public Officers Mutual Aid Amendment Act (including where the provisions are followed pursuant to Article 48-2 of the Private School Personnel Mutual Aid Association Act);

七a disability lump-sum payment under Article 56, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 2012 Pension Unification Act;

八a local public officers' mutual aid pension before the 2012 unification (excluding a disability mutual aid pension for official duties, etc. prescribed in Article 87, paragraph (2) of the Local Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act Before the 2012 Unification as Still in Force (meaning the Local Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act prior to the amendment by Article 3 of the 2012 Pension Unification Act, which remains in force pursuant to Article 61, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 2012 Pension Unification Act; the same applies hereinafter) and a survivors' mutual aid pension for official duties, etc. prescribed in Article 99-2, paragraph (3) of the Local Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act Before the 2012 Unification as Still in Force) and a benefit in the nature of a pension under the former Local Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act (excluding a disability pension under Article 86, paragraph (1), item (i) of the former Local Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act and a pension for surviving family under Article 93, item (i) of the former Local Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act);

九a retirement mutual aid pension, a disability mutual aid pension and a survivors' mutual aid pension under Article 65, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 2012 Pension Unification Act;

十a retirement lump-sum payment paid in accordance with the previous provisions pursuant to Article 7 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Act on Revision, etc. of Pension Amounts under the Local Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act from Fiscal Year 1967 Onward, etc. (Act No. 73 of 1979), a lump-sum withdrawal payment and a special death lump-sum payment paid in accordance with the previous provisions pursuant to Article 42 of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1985 Local Public Officers Mutual Aid Amendment Act, and a refund lump-sum payment and a death lump-sum payment paid in accordance with the previous provisions pursuant to Article 131 of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1985 Local Public Officers Mutual Aid Amendment Act;

十一a private school personnel mutual aid pension before the 2012 unification and a benefit in the nature of a pension under the pre-1985 Private School Personnel Mutual Aid Association Act; and

十二private school pension foundation pensions, etc. (meaning the pensions of the former incorporated foundation the Private School Pension Foundation which the Promotion and Mutual Aid Corporation for Private Schools of Japan is obligated to pay by having succeeded to its rights and obligations pursuant to paragraph (11) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Private School Personnel Mutual Aid Association Act (Act No. 245 of 1953) prior to the amendment by Article 4 of the 2012 Pension Unification Act and Article 5, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act on the Promotion and Mutual Aid Corporation for Private Schools of Japan (Act No. 48 of 1997), and the pensions for which the previous provisions of the former incorporated foundation the Private School Pension Foundation are to be followed pursuant to paragraph (20) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Private School Personnel Mutual Aid Association Act prior to the amendment by the Act Partially Amending the Private School Personnel Mutual Aid Association Act, etc. (Act No. 140 of 1961; referred to as the "1961 Private School Mutual Aid Amendment Act" in Article 4-2-4, paragraph (1), item (x)); the same applies in Article 4-2-4, paragraph (2), item (xii) and paragraph (4), item (xiii)).
