If the security deposit for operations falls short of the amount as specified by Cabinet Order under Article 25, paragraph (2), as a result of a person exercising their right as provided for in paragraph (1) of the preceding article of said right, a Real Estate Broker must deposit the amount of said shortfall within two weeks of the date as specified by an Ordinance of the Ministry of Justice and an Ordinance of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
If a Real Estate Broker deposits a security deposit for operations pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Real Estate Broker must attach a copy of the documents of the deposit, in which the acceptance of the deposit is stated and provide a notification of the fact thereof to the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism or prefectural governor from whom its license was obtained within two weeks.
The provisions of Article 25, paragraph (3), apply mutatis mutandis to a case in which a deposit is made pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (1).
