If it is necessary for continuously keeping track of information on mid- to long-term residents, the Commissioner of the Immigration Services Agency may have an officer inquire into facts with regard to the information which is to be notified pursuant to the provisions of this Subsection.
出入国在留管理庁長官は、中長期在留者に関する情報の継続的な把握のため必要があるときは、この款の規定により届け出ることとされている事項について、その職員に事実の調査をさせることができる。
The immigration inspector or immigration control officer may require persons concerned to appear, ask them questions, or request them to present documents or electronic or magnetic records, if it is necessary for the inquiry set forth in the preceding paragraph.
The Commissioner of the Immigration Services Agency, immigration inspector or immigration control officer may make inquiries to public offices or public or private organizations and require submission of reports on necessary information in relation to the inquiry set forth in paragraph (1).

The name, date of birth, sex, nationality, place of residence, organization of affiliation and other information needed for residence management about mid- to long-term residents (中長期在留者), obtained under this Act and other laws and regulations, which the Commissioner of the Immigration Services Agency (出入国在留管理庁長官) must keep organized, including, for specified skilled workers (i) (特定技能外国人), information on the support they receive.
