Motor vehicle inspectors, designated motor vehicle maintenance business operators engaged in the certification under Article 94-5, paragraph (1) and Article 94-5-2, paragraph (1) and other work of issuing safety standards conformity certificates, safety standards conformity marks and limited safety standards conformity certificates, and the officers and employees of those operators are deemed, for the purposes of the application of the Penal Code and other penal provisions, to be employees engaged in public services in accordance with laws and regulations.
