Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect on the dates specified in those items:
この法律は、公布の日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。

Supplementary Provisions, Article 21Transitional Measures Accompanying Partial Amendment of the Medical Care Act
第二十一条（医療法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
Within a period not exceeding one year counted from the date of enforcement of the provisions of Article 29, until the Prefectural Ordinance prescribed in Article 7-2, paragraph (4) of the Medical Care Act as amended by the provisions of Article 29 (hereinafter referred to in this Article and Article 123, paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions as the "New Medical Care Act") is enacted and put into effect, the standards specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare in Article 30-4, paragraph (5) of the New Medical Care Act are deemed to be the relevant Prefectural Ordinance.
第二十九条の規定の施行の日から起算して一年を超えない期間内において、同条の規定による改正後の医療法（以下この条及び附則第百二十三条第二項において「新医療法」という。）第七条の二第四項に規定する都道府県の条例が制定施行されるまでの間は、新医療法第三十条の四第五項の厚生労働省令で定める基準は、当該都道府県の条例とみなす。
Within a period not exceeding one year counted from the date of enforcement of the provisions of Article 29, until the Prefectural Ordinance prescribed in Article 7-2, paragraph (5) of the New Medical Care Act is enacted and put into effect, the standards specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare in that paragraph are deemed to be the relevant Prefectural Ordinance.
第二十九条の規定の施行の日から起算して一年を超えない期間内において、新医療法第七条の二第五項に規定する都道府県の条例が制定施行されるまでの間は、同項の厚生労働省令で定める基準は、当該都道府県の条例とみなす。
Within a period not exceeding one year counted from the date of enforcement of the provisions of Article 29, until the Prefectural or Municipal Ordinance of a prefecture, a city with a public health center, or a special ward prescribed in Article 18 of the New Medical Care Act is enacted and put into effect, the standards specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare in that Article are deemed to be the standards specified by the Prefectural or Municipal Ordinance of the relevant prefecture, city with a public health center, or special ward.
Within a period not exceeding one year counted from the date of enforcement of the provisions of Article 29, until the Prefectural Ordinance prescribed in Article 21, paragraphs (1) and (2) of the New Medical Care Act is enacted and put into effect, the standards specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare in paragraph (3) of that Article are deemed to be the standards specified by the relevant Prefectural Ordinance.
第二十九条の規定の施行の日から起算して一年を超えない期間内において、新医療法第二十一条第一項及び第二項に規定する都道府県の条例が制定施行されるまでの間は、同条第三項の厚生労働省令で定める基準は、当該都道府県の条例で定める基準とみなす。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 81Transitional Measures Concerning Penal Provisions
第八十一条（罰則に関する経過措置）
With regard to the application of penal provisions to acts committed before this Act (or, for the provisions set forth in the items of Article 1 of the Supplementary Provisions, those provisions; the same applies hereinafter in this Article) comes into effect and to acts committed after this Act comes into effect in the cases where the provisions then in force continue to govern pursuant to the provisions of these Supplementary Provisions, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
この法律（附則第一条各号に掲げる規定にあっては、当該規定。以下この条において同じ。）の施行前にした行為及びこの附則の規定によりなお従前の例によることとされる場合におけるこの法律の施行後にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 82Delegation to Cabinet Order
第八十二条（政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in these Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary for the enforcement of this Act (including transitional measures concerning penal provisions) are specified by Cabinet Order.
この附則に規定するもののほか、この法律の施行に関し必要な経過措置（罰則に関する経過措置を含む。）は、政令で定める。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 123Review
第百二十三条（検討）
Taking into account the status of enforcement of the provisions of Article 21-5-15 of the new Child Welfare Act (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 24-9 of the new Child Welfare Act), Articles 7-2, 18 and 21 of the New Medical Care Act, Article 39 of the new Public Assistance Act, Article 65 of the new Social Welfare Act and Article 36 of the new Services and Supports for Persons with Disabilities Act (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 38 of the new Services and Supports for Persons with Disabilities Act), etc., the government is to review how the standards that the head of a national administrative organ prescribes pursuant to those provisions should be and, when it finds it necessary, is to take necessary measures based on the results.
