第七条
For the period until the day on which two years and six months have elapsed from the date of enforcement of this Act, in Article 30-3, paragraph (4) of the New Medical Care Act, the phrase "based on the total number calculated according to each of the bed classifications" is deemed to be replaced with "relating to the total number of transitional former other beds prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (3), item (iv) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Medical Care Act, etc. (Act No. 141 of 2000), long-term care beds and general beds".
この法律の施行の日から二年六月を経過する日までの間は、新医療法第三十条の三第四項中「それぞれの病床の種別に応じ算定した数の合計数を基にした」とあるのは、「医療法等の一部を改正する法律（平成十二年法律第百四十一号）附則第二条第三項第四号に規定する経過的旧その他の病床、療養病床及び一般病床の総数に関する」とする。
For the period on or after the day on which two years and six months have elapsed from the date of enforcement of this Act until the date specified by Cabinet Order, in Article 30-3, paragraph (4) of the New Medical Care Act, the phrase "based on the total number calculated according to each of the bed classifications" is deemed to be replaced with "relating to the total number of long-term care beds and general beds".
