第百四条
From April 1, 2013 to March 31, 2033, in preparing a medical care plan, a prefecture is to give appropriate consideration, in light of the special circumstances of medical care in an area designated as a remote island development measures implementation area pursuant to Article 2, paragraph (1) of the Remote Islands Development Act (Act No. 72 of 1953), so that necessary medical care is ensured in that area through ensuring the availability of physicians, etc., securing hospital beds, etc.
都道府県は、平成二十五年四月一日から令和十五年三月三十一日までの間、医療計画を作成するに当たつては、離島振興法（昭和二十八年法律第七十二号）第二条第一項の規定により離島振興対策実施地域として指定された地域における医療の特殊事情に鑑み、当該地域において医師等の確保、病床の確保等により必要な医療が確保されるよう適切な配慮をするものとする。
